VALLEY FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD

Meet Our Church Staff!

It is nearly impossible to give credit to every single name and face of those who come together that work behind the scenes to form what Valley First Assembly of God is today. Each staff member works over a different area of ministry to spread the message of the gospel with the purpose in mind to reach people where they are, develop relationships and show them the love of Jesus Christ.

PASTORS JOHN JR. AND NATALIE ELDRIDGE

SENIOR PASTORS

Graduates of South Western Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas in 2005, John and Natalie started their ministry in the field of Student Ministries and Church Building/Administration with the vision to penetrate the culture with Word of God through church planting and equipping the body of Christ to go out and do the work of the ministry.

With over 20 years of ministry experience, the Eldridges have helped in A/G churches such as The Bridge Church and Church of the Havest as as staff.

In 2007, they received the call from God to plant their first church, Contact Ministries Center to reach the people of the Valley,Alabama area. Since then, they are the senior pastors of what is now Valley First Assembly of God and working towards their next church plant for the upcoming future.

Articles & Resources for Church Workers

  • Starting a Greeter Program
Four years ago I accepted the challenge of evangelism chairperson for our church. One of the first programs the pastor and I developed was the Sunday morning greeter program.
  • Motivating the Right Person into the Right Ministry
One of the greatest challenges for most leaders is selecting and motivating the right people into the right ministry positions in hopes of minimizing turnover and frustration. Even in the smaller church with limited personnel, it is important to coordinate people and ministry as much as possible.
  • “I TRIED, BUT NO ONE EVER CALLED ME”
“I tried, but no one ever called me” are painful words for a leader who has much work to do and not enough people willing to do it. These words are painful for the person who wanted to contribute, but was never called. These are also painful words for a person who is committed to helping people connect and contribute in meaningful ways within the church.
